[SLUG] Testing routing from outside

I am fiddling with virtual hosts, and although I now can access my
virtual hosts from my LAN I am told they are not accessable from the
outside. Is there a way I can test outside world connectivity from here,
that is, check whether someone can reach me from the net as opposed to
my LAN?
