We use 8 port 10/100Mbit Mototech switches which cost $200-$250.
Stacking-wise this isn't really an option, but there are higher port
models available and I can get other stacking dual speed switches. But if
you're using em for basic X app sharing and network games (+ leeching at
the same time :P) like we do, then you'll find them most useable :)
