The MUA/webpage side of Hotmail is a proprietary piece of crap, the
platform is Freeb, and qmail does the MTA part.
The Hotmail MUA is just one of the many MUA's out there that dont adhere
to the Internet message standards, RFC822 and children -- bad enough to
not honour the 'In-Reply-To' and 'References' headers, essential to
anyone reading in threaded mode. That said, everyone use Mutt or
Netscape Mail -- or when I've finished it, Beefmail, a mua that I'm
writing to replace all the sucky mua's out there ;)
