Sluggers, Will this work? I have RH6.1 installed on a hard drive with 8G capacity. Partitions are split / 2G, /home 2G, /usr 1.5G, /usr/local 2G etc etc so the 8G is all spoke for. The total amount of stuff actually on the drive would be <= 2G or so. My hard drives are the removable rack kind. Can I compress and back up to a hard drive that has only about 2G capacity? Sure would be a cheaper way than having to buy expensive tape drives.
