I had a client that was hit by the chernobyl virus, wiped the hard disk on
his notebook. He hadn't been updating his virus defs like he was supposed
to, and even though he had a parallel port Zip drive permanently connected
to his docking station, he hadn't backed up for nearly three months. In the
meantime, a big deal had come up, and he had lost all his doco on it. He
didn't keep paper copies of anything, and he faxed direct from the PC, so he
lost the whole lot. They lost that job.
