Ok heres the scenario
hda0 (aka C:) linux install
hda1 (aka D:) 'doze install
lilo lets you add them fine.
Linux will boot, if 'doze is c: it boots fine.
But if i try to boot to 'doze with the disk as D: using lilo
(lilo at this point has accepted and added the windows entry, and i have
rebooted)
i get a nice lil error, and lilo: comes back at me again. As previously
noted
linux will boot.
I have looked at the lilo howto and the upgrading hdd mini howto and
have used
bios setting thingy (or something) with no luck
Apparently boot magic can handle it, but i would prefer the GNU glow of
lilo
