My win98 box accepts connections on port 139.  Does this mean it's a server
and therefore I can't use it for Optus@Home?  Where do I buy a computer
without any open ports?

A little more seriously - We should try talking to Optus rather than
whinging about them.  I will, if anyone ever gets around to cabling up the
Blue Mountains.
