Hi, we've got a linux machine between our lan and the net which is runnning
all our services, ip masq and sendmail basically.. since i dont know jack
all about linux (yet) i hardly ever touch the machine. this morning i logged
on to be kindly notified that root account has new mail, 2400 odd emails in
fact, all msg's from Mailer-Daemon with Subject "Returned mail: User
unknown". there is a rather large amount of spam being distributed via our
server and bandwidth, naturally this is giving me shits esp because i dont
know how to stop it (besides the off switch) any quick fix would be
appreciated till i get a chance to read up and fix it properly..
