An open relay mail host... very bad.. I bet among those thousands of messages
you might even have the odd email from ISP's etc, stating if you don't close up
the hole, they will blacklist your domain.
Its been a while since I used sendmail, I am told the anti-relay rules/features
have been improved.. But I changed to qmail long ago, as I was sick of waiting
for sendmail to have some decent anti-spam features.
I am sure someone with more knowledge of sendmail will be able to help, if not,
maybe you should consider getting someone to install or help you install qmail.
Anyways if you have questions about qmail, I am here, along with lots of others.
