aarh No, the correct approach is to support management's wise decision
to go with Linux and suggest they get someone in from outside to
correctly configure the box. Then when they agree, you can post the
request to the SLUG list and ask people who want to do this work for $
to respond.
This way you will build up a resource of
consultants/contractors/resources that can help your company move over
to Linux and save even more money, (which you hope they will then pay
to you as extra wages for your wise recommendations about going Linux
{:-)
The alternative is too awful to contemplate!
