so you'd have to do that every time you reboot?
I'm sure there was a way do to it (without hotswapping chips!)
but I can't remember where I read it, or if I am mistaken.
Since I can't find any evidence now of another way, maybe
I was mistaken (maybe I was thinking of changing the hostid?)
and a new chip is the only way - as Rachel said, Craig Dewick
(of www.sunrk.com.au) is probably about the cheapest.
