Hi,
I want to be able to use an ftp client running on my NT machine to ftp to an
internet site. At the moment I can't get past my Linux server! (Mandrake 6)
I can give the client the Linux machine IP address, but it always fais to logon
to the ftp server on the Linux box. I see messages such as 'Password
Required for User XXXX', I give the password for that user but it still fails to
login.
The user is listed in /etc/ftpusers and the permissions on that file are 755
What else do I need to do? Or am I going about it all wrong?
Cheers,
