Hi
A quick thank you to those who responded to my last
message.
I'm having trouble setting up the routing table
so hosts on two different networks can talk to each other. The two different
hosts reside on the same physical network.
For example:
Network 1:
Network:
192.168.0.0
Mask:
255.255.255.0
Network 2:
Network: 192.168.1.0
Mask:
255.255.255.0
I've tried the following route
table:
Network 1:
Destination: 192.168.1.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
(IP address assigned to eth0)
Mask:
255.255.255.0
Interface:
ETH0
Network 2:
Destination: 192.168.0.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1
(IP address assigned to eth0)
Mask:
255.255.255.0
Interface:
ETH0 I cannot ping the hosts of the different
network. Any ideas?
Regards,
Jason Lowe
