Somebody at Friday's SLUG, I think it was Grant Parnell, was asking about
Linux on old AMD 586s, AMD's answer to the 486. I have a recollection
of reading somewhere, but I can't be sure, that they were slightly
flawed and will not run Linux properly. I don't remember if they will
run properly if treated as a 386, might be worth a try.
