Following the Apache syntax exactly I have now in srm.conf:
# ScriptAlias: This controls which directories contain server scripts.
# Format: ScriptAlias fakename realname
# ML May 2000: Replaced the default script alias
#ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /home/httpd/cgi-bin/
ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /home/mikel/cgi-bin/
I also tried it in access.conf but same error message.
Must be something simple. And after I get it all working I'll need a
security audit for peace of mind.

Why do they have access.conf and srm.conf.
