Where the hell do you see anything about SMS on qpage? It's all alpha
numeric paging... Or is it deeep deep in the site????

Not normal modems, no

Sure can. Grab something like Qpage at http://www.qpage.org
Then try to find the numbers for the networks SMS gateway.
