Why do we need Javascript and so on to read plain text?
I'm getting fed up with this. I don't usually go to ZD for this
reason but I wanted to read the article. 90% of Zd's web site
is unreadable if you use anything but Windows based clients.
I tried turning Java and JS off but then I got nothing
including no ad. Funny how you can nearly always get the ad
and not the content though.
Perhaps my idea of "spam net" isn't a bad one - you could send the
spam banner ads va one protocol and the content via the other.
I could then just filter out all the JS crap and just download the
clean pure simple and readable ASCII.
