I am getting the folowing errors in /var/log/messages and I have not been
able to find the cause.
May 28 11:54:03 chaos191 inetd[499]: auth/tcp: bind: Address already in use
May 28 12:04:03 chaos191 inetd[499]: auth/tcp: bind: Address already in use
May 28 12:14:03 chaos191 inetd[499]: auth/tcp: bind: Address already in use
May 28 12:24:03 chaos191 inetd[499]: auth/tcp: bind: Address already in use
May 28 12:34:03 chaos191 inetd[499]: auth/tcp: bind: Address already in use
Could anyone suggest a possible source of the message. I have been hunting
around in the named config files but it all seems ok.
