Steven,
What it is saying that there is already something running on the auth/tcp
port, and inetd cannot listen on that port as a result. That numerically
is tcp port 113. Be wary of any services that are running on that port
number that shouldn't be? Track down what is using that port number and
make sure your system hasn't been compromised.
