DHCP is there, thats assigning addresses of 10.0.0.10->254

The linux machine is sitting on 10.0.0.1

Even if I set the Laptop to 192.168.0.1, 21.21.21.21 etc, will hang the
networking on the linux box. If i unplug the laptop, the linux box dosn't
continue.

to drop off the network. If I log into the machine, everything is correct,
no settings have changed, no error's, nothing weird in the messages(s)
files. To fix it, I have to reboot the machine.

into.
