Just a guess, but they don't have the same MAC Addresses do
they? Obviously they shouldn't have, but if they did it would probably do
that.

laptop into the network, one of the linux machines seems to drop off the
network. If I log into the machine, everything is correct, no settings
have changed, no error's, nothing weird in the messages(s) files. To
fix it, I have to reboot the machine.
This happens about 15 sec after I plug the laptop in. dosn't
matter what IP address the laptop has, dosn't matter what hub I plug the
laptop into.
Ive even
changed the network card! (same brand/model tho)
Has anyone seen/heard such a
thing?
