I was not advocating conforming to the majority. If this was the case I'd be
running some Win2k advanced server machine that consumed 180 megs of ram
doing nothing, and most likely would not be working doing support for SCO
Unix....
The only beef I had was the point that you made about the majority of
web-sites being in error, I was not suggesting conformity to IE by any means
at it's support for some things is also abysmal (CSS2 being a good example),
however when an interface is to be used to communicate with a broad spectrum
of people what is in use by most should logically be the standard.
And as for my snipe with the elitist and biased comments, what did you
expect... according to certain members of this mailing group you are not
qualified to have an opinion on a product unless you wrote portions of it...
So let's agree to disagree and end this thread.......now
