learn the METAFONT language ;)
(its what TeX fonts are done in. basically its a full language, with
variables, functions, loops, control flow constructs, etc - but all it
does is draw letters..)

i don't understand what you are trying to do ..
"so that i find it easier to type up" implies there's another way to
