While many of the comments on slash disappoint I have to disagree with
such a blanket statement.

It's all a matter of preference, of course.

Which leads me to ask: what sources of information do people find
useful to read on a regular basis?

I still read several Usenet groups, and for non computer info
(e.g. lit, history) I find

Arts & Letters Daily - ideas, criticism, debate
        URL: http://www.cybereditions.com/aldaily/

pretty good.

But for keeping up with Linux info, what do people recommend?
