And smbstatus says??
Also look out for local WINS and DNS 'doze boxen that tend to hand around
forever.
If you have configured your SAMBA as an NT server (not workstation) you will
also get pestered by 'doze boxen.
netstat -a should show their real connections, if they exist.
If they don't exist, try killing the offending procs and hope they don't
hang around again! :)
