Thanks. I went into <www.rpmfind.net> again and downloaded
<gnome-print-0.9-1-i386.rpm> (the only one
above 0.5 with a 'i386' in it) and attempted to install. I received the
message
-------------------------------------------
The following dependency problems occurred:
gnome-print-0.9-1 requires ghost-script fonts>=0.43
gedit 0.90 requires gnome-print >=0.18
gnumeric 0.54-4 requires gnome-print>=0.18
libgnomeprint11-0.25-8_helix_1 requires gnome-print>=0.20
[and more stuff which basically repeated the above]
-------------------------------------------
I then downloaded a number of ghost-script fonts,
ghostscript-fonts-5.50-3.noarch.rpm
ghostscript-fonts-5.50-3.src.rpm
ghostscript-fonts-std-6.0-6.noarch.rpm
and successfully installed the first two - the third would not install
due to
"ghostscript-5.50-7 requires ghostscript fonts"
- and tried to install <gnome-print-0.9-1-i386.rpm> again
only to receive the messages
---------------------------------------
gedit-0.9-3 requires gnomeprint >=0.18
gnumeric-0.54-4 requires gnome-print>=0.20
libgnomeprint11-0.25-8_helix_1 requires gnome-print>=0.25
-----------------------------------------
By this stage I had the feeling I was getting the runaround ......
Any ideas ?
