Dear SLUGer's

This is probably going to be put down as an advert but I'll ask
anyway.

As it's Christmas and time once more to check out those not too well
used barbies and whether the local supermarket has any food left in
it I thought I'd ask about the subject of giving Christmas presents
to people. Yes, I know we are all as mean as Yorkshiremen and
Scotsmen are a good deal more giving at the Christmas period :)

The question arises .... where do we buy our Linux CDs from and who
do we give them to ? I'm trying to understand where people in Sydney
get hold of their software from and I'd really like to know if
there's any SuSE software on the shelf down there. I know that I've
detected a definite Debian bias over the past year or to. Can't see
anything wrong with that. But, as well as the Debian stuff I like to
use SuSE software on my laptop.

Anyone point me towards any local stores in Sydney that might be
useful or is there an online store that will accept plastic ? Or, do
we just sit here and curse the retail people in just the same way
that we do in here in Sheffield :)

Merry Christmas
