I've been running SuSE since 6.4, when I ditched Deadrat because of its
unreliability around the 6.0 release.
I'm perfectly happy with SuSE. Any problems with it are due to my
stupidity, not the distribution.

There's actually a very good reason for that - most wild versions of
edible Australian animals are heavily worm infested - including Kangaroo,
Emu and pig - and eating the wild versions is taking a risk. While hunters
will do it - especially in the cae of pig or boar - no sane resturant
would risk the legal problems this would cause.

You're quite wrong. All Kangaroo meat eaten in Australia is farmed -
however, those farms make _much_ more money selling it offshore, hence the
scarcity locally. Ditto for Emu, which isn't quite as tasty.
If you're looking for places to get Kangaroo steaks - try any Leonards
Poultry shop {yes, I know it's not poultry - they sell it anyway} - I know
for a fact the one at Eastgardens {South Sydney} sells Kangaroo fillet.
Also, there's a butcher {Bushes meats, I think} in St Ives Chase on the
north shore which sells similar.
Basically, any store which sells "game" meats like venison, goat etc will
usually have Kangaroo, and possibly even Emu.
The trick to Kangaroo is to not overcook it - medium rare at _most_ is
what you want - I tend to prefer closer to rare - and it's great for
women, since it's about twice as high in iron as cows meat.
And that's hoperfully my last off-topic post for this year. At least it
had _some_ Linux content. :-)
