I have installed a new kernel from http://neugierig.org/content/tibook/
and have Bens stripped down
file http://neugierig.org/content/tibook/XF86Config-4
I have also done an apt-get install fbset; fbset -x which dumped out so
good yakka about the video but alas still no good.

I suspect I will be bringing my machine along to the next meeting for
some help :-)
