Aside from "/proc/bus/usb" I don't have anything in fstab for my burner, but mine's attached via USB, so it isn't always there. In lilo, I have: append="hdc=ide-scsi hdd=ide-scsi" hdc is the on-board ide CD ROM, hdd is the external ide-cdrw-in-a-USB-enclosure. The source needs to be scsi-emulated too, or some of the burning programs won't do CD to CD copies. ganesha:/etc# cat modules # /etc/modules: kernel modules to load at boot time. # # This file should contain the names of kernel modules that are # to be loaded at boot time, one per line. I start eroaster from an su'ed command prompt. HTH, Bret -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
