The CD Burner is old anyway and only writes these days at 2x, so I need to get another one soon - question is, what type should I get to suit Linux ?
1. I have a board with 2 SATA ports but have not set them up as yet as my PATA drives work perfectly. No "flakiness" at all.
2. I have a Samsung RW52-24-52 which works perfectly with K3B.
