What sort of options do you have on the router, are you able to set a default DNS server for the DHCP server to send out to the clients? Not as far as I can tell - it is a NetComm NB5 ADSL router, and the config options for that seem to be enable or disable. I am currently trying the horrible kludge of making /etc/resolv.conf immutable with chattr but there has to be a better way...
