I do not know that because I don't have Eeepc. Having said that
though, why not give Eeebuntu (http://www.eeebuntu.org) a go? It's
specifically designed for Eeepc. Or even Xubuntu
(http://www.xubuntu.org/). Note that I do not have Eeepc meself and
also please note that Xubuntu runs XFCE desktop environment which in
terms of system load(Memory+CPU) is lighter than Eeebuntu which runs
Gnome/Remix desktop environment.
