You can use Firefox's keyboard shortcuts to access the search bar and
change the search engine to use (this is for Firefox on Windows but it
should work for Firefox on Linux too.  If not, substitute Ctrl- with
Alt-):

Ctrl-K - change focus to searchbar
Ctrl-Up/Down - change searchbar engine to use (only works after the
focus is on the searchbar)
