Hey folks, this is Singapore mah! Seriously I don't think any of us are surprised by the outcome. But yes it is certainly disappointing, especially when some ASEAN countries with "bribery practices" can vote no, while our "clean" and well-paid government choose to vote differently from majority of the rest of the world.

But if Singapore can ban chewing gum, Singapore can vote yes lor.

Sigh (and shake head).

Yes, it is not pragmatism that prevailed.  It is subtle M$ pressure.
