Quite easily done, especially if you already have TortoiseSVN installed
on the Windows XP laptop. Create a blank folder where you want to put
your SVN repository, right click -> TortoiseSVN -> Create repository here
Then import your working folder into the repository with url
file:///C:/Path/To/Your/Repository and check it out again from there.
