Do note that that article was a pseudo editorial sponsored by MS in some hidden fashion.

Google maps is far more useful - granted Google maps does not currently show the HDB block numbers, but it is good enough. Streetdirectory is the, imho, a pretty crappy site, full of ads and wasted real estate *before* getting to the info you need. > The reason for the migration after 8 years of using Linux? one Eugene Lim, > the director of business development, mentioned about the difficulty on > finding a Mandrake sysadmin. This is the same "switch-extol the virtues" story that MS has run before. > I almost choked on my lunch, laughing so hard while reading this article. If Google Maps runs on Linux and serves map info for the world, why does virtual map not have a clue on how to do it better? Anyway, since today is April Fools day, I am hoping that the story was a joke doubly delivered as well. -- Harish Pillay [EMAIL PROTECTED] gpg id: 746809E3 fingerprint: F7F5 5CCD 25B9 FC25 303E 3DA2 0F80 27DB 7468 09E3 _______________________________________________ Slugnet mailing list [email protected] http://www.lugs.org.sg/mailman/listinfo/slugnet
