I'm not trying to preach here, but that's a fallacy. Arch resembles (or at least "feels" and works like) BSD more than Gentoo does. But of course, Arch doesn't give you commercial support nor the hardness (let's not call it stability) of a server. PKGBUILDs actually look sane while ebuilds have functions for nothing. If you're still distro-hopping, you may want to try it out if you were once a religious BSD or Slackware user (:
