Hi Lyn, The problem has been solved, Thank you very much. I finally understand that stdout and stderr are output to slurm-%j.out in the first compute node by default, rather than in the control node. The manual of sbatch doesn't mention this feature. In my case, the control node and the first compute node are two different host. That's why I can't see any output in the control node.
