I am looking at using one from Panamax right now, but the voltage shut down
is 19v, I am scared this is too close to the 18v power supply I'll be using
Still have not found a source for 18v power supplies also

Subject: [smartBridges] InLine Ethernet Surge Protector

I have a APC PNET1 inline surge protector, I was wondering if I could
place it between the Powershot adapter and the Airbridge Outdoor unit
for extra surge protection. I plugged it up and the radio came on and
the Ethernet port both on the pc and the radio worked, but I don't want
to install it until I know for sure that there is not going to be any
issues with it. I believe it protects all 8 wires and the cutover is
like 6 Volts but Im not sure how it works really.

Any info would be helpful.

Robin
