When I attempt to run Simple Mon 1.51- which has
previously been running OK -
I get the message "Previous instance of
simpleMonitor is running. please close it and try again'
This despite having uninstalled it
etc.
The PC running Win98 will dial out using DUN and I
can ping Internet IP's from DOS.
IE6 doesnt get out of the PC nor will it find my
LAN.
Have removed and reinstalled NIC.
This is the second PC I've seen this problem
on.
Is Simple Monitor causing the hang up or is it
displaying the symptom.
Either way any pointers would be greatly
appreciated.
