I forgot to mention... I also added an AP Total to this
same access point, and found the performance to match
my APPO client w/ 19dbi panel. However, I have
virtually no interference worries.

The best argument for going with the APPO (at least on
one end) is the flexibility down the road. If you want
to add clients, you can get a different antenna (maybe
an omni instead of a panel).

No 2' dish required.

Get a small 19dbi flat panel for each end. I use have a
couple of Arc Wireless antennas from e-comm. They are
about $55 each and come with mounting brackets. Work
great.

By the way... I have found that setting up the link in
an AP/Client configuration does not significantly
affect the performance, and is more convenient than PtP
(Wireless Bridge Mode). Give it a try both way - it's
easy to change.

Duh Sam.... :)

One last question: What antennas have you had the best
luck with on a
p-t-p shot like this? I was thinking something along
the line of a 2 foot
parabolic, but would much rather defer to the
experiences of the group
than to guess.

Thanks for everyone's help!
Sam
