I forgot to mention... I also added an AP Total to this same access point, and found the performance to match my APPO client w/ 19dbi panel. However, I have virtually no interference worries.
The best argument for going with the APPO (at least on one end) is the flexibility down the road. If you want to add clients, you can get a different antenna (maybe an omni instead of a panel).
