Yes, by simply disconnecting the power and reconnect also will do the
power reset. I thought resetting to factory default.

Unfortunately this not only resets the APPO but also sets it back to 
factory default setting thereby requiring it to be reprogrammed (which
may 
or may not be a trivial task).  Wouldn't it reset the APPO if the power 
were simply removed for a few seconds and then restored?
