John, since all units now equip with POE powershot, do the unit has no direct power connection anymore.
 
PPPoE does work if you use RASPPPoE client on the PC. It is weird that WinXP build in client or hardware solution like routers may have problem to get it work. We are still investigating on this. DHCP is working fine all the while. Maybe you could write to us offline with the details.

We just received a couple of AirBridges and was it a surprise to see the there is no longer a power connection. These latest ones can only be fed over cat5. It would be nice to be to have the choice, depending on the install.
 
Also the new units still don't pass PPPoE or DHCP addressing to the client computer correctly.
 
The AirPoint models in client bridge mode seem to bridge correctly. And they do both direct power and POE.
 
I guess we can just buy all airPoints and forget about the airBridges. It's just I hate paying for an Access Point to get a working client device.
