The
sun shining off a surface will introduce noise as well as temp related changes
to a reflection. It sounds like a new signal is causing interference now or your
radio/antenna is putting out a lower EIRP. There could be a new 2.5GHz phone in
use. Can the AB be moved (via longer ethernet cable) to the other side of the
house or in the attic? Can it be changed to an outdoor unit?

about the screenshot pic...I really am stumped on this...and I thought this
would be the only way to get my point across.
Here
is a client that shows on average 72% RSSI over time. As you can see by
the pic, everyday the unit shows a degradation in RSSI, starting at around noon
and then goes back up around 9 pm. Sounds like temperature is affecting
the signal??
Then...as of midnight last night, his RSSI dropped to
52% and has stayed solid at that level ever since?? He told me that he did
not move the unit.
FACTS:
1.
Indoor airBridge sitting in window.
2. ~
200 yards from 150ft transmitting tower (so his unit is about 150 ft lower than
the antenna)
3.
Omni antenna with 7 degree downtilt with aPPo
4.
Unit is on opposite side of house (non-LOS) from the antenna (I believe he is
receiving his signal reflected off neighbors home - seperated by 10
ft).
5.
Average temperatures here: Daytime = 78 degree Nightime = 55
degrees
Questions:
1.
Would the temp of the wood home next door affect the reflection capability of
the signal?? Sounds weird I know...but the cooler it is outside, the
better RSSI he gets.
2.
What could have caused the unit to drop to 55% RSSI at midnight last night and
not come back (I did do a power reset on it with no affect).
Thanks
all!!
