Title: RE: [smartBridges] Site Survey

Net stumbler works on hardware on the pc for wireless IE PCMCIA cards I don't think that they could do it over Ethernet unless smartbridge worked with them to implement whatever protocols it needed to do the scans, BUT I DO THINK THAT SMARTBRIDGE NEEDS A SPECTRUM ANALYSIS I had to install an aironet at one of my repeaters just to get channel usage statistics and find out which channels had interference or lots of usage on.

I'm with you on that one...i do not think Netstumbler will work w/ an
airBridge as it stands now.  However, I believe that this is something
Netstumbler would need to add to their software...nothing smartBridges can
really control.
