1. mikrotik 2.7 works with xp's PPPoE client over a wired connection perfectly (im using it right now)
2. put an smartbridge wireless system in between the mikrotik box and the xp box and it stops working
therefore it seems to me that it must be the smartbridge units which are not passing the pppoe data
on correctly. Even if switching from the xp client to something else like raspppoe patches the problem
it does not FIX the problem. Clearly the smartbridge units are causing a problem which needs to be fixed.

I know rev 2.6 of Mikrotik had issue but not 2.7
APP firmware says no know issue.

I have set up a PPPOE server on mikrotik, v.2.7,
I can log in with a client under 95,98,2000,XP & router.....
However I'm on a wired Lan.
If I go wireless, I cannot log. I cannot log using Airbridge client or WB320. I did not try anything else. I will try it with APP set up has client to see.
My questions are ????
What firmware I should use on my APP access point.
What firmware I should use on my Airbridge indoor.
What firmware I should use on my Airbridge oudoor.
What firmware I should use on my APP set up has client.
Could it be possible for smartbridge to have a software or firmware which would enable me to authorize an AirBridge with PPPOE. ????..... Maybe it's a bad idea.
