I am looking for some feedback concerning DHCP leases on a pure SB network. The current setup is that both the client Radios (SB-total) and the client computers are receiving DHCP addresses. I guess I have some concerns about this layout. While I imagine it is fine for the client PC to get one, but as for the client radio I see red flags there. If the radio looses association with the AP for some reason it would loose its IP.. this is my understanding.. Will a client radio automatically reassociate once it is powered on again?  If it does repower and does not get a address will it get the 192.168.0.22 address? What will it take to get a DHCP address back? If the DHCP lease is set for 7 days or less will the SB automatically be given a new address with no problems. the current layout is  SB outdoor(static) for the AP's and then SB total (DHCP) for the clients. Last question is that SB Totals are being used at the clients location eve mounted or mounted on a 5ft pole, are there many issues with these and heat? are they not as rugged as the SB outdoors? Sorry for all the questions just starting on the list here and have not read the 100 posts that I have right now.

Thanks in advance,
Steve Good
