Here's a simply VPN layout:

Client(10.0.0.1)-->Router(192.168.1.1)<--VPN-->Router(192.168.2.1)<--
(10.0.10.1)Client

Each router can be running NAT & DHCP. You can throw in an APPO on any
side.

location will not do it? The routers have the 10. ip's on the wan
side and running dhcp on the inside. My main question would be what do
I have to supply this guy for him to be able to set this up? At this
point he is paying someone else the big bucks for doing his
networking. I just want to make sure it's possible going thru the appo
like I have it setup below.

client that has there own special network guy telling me that they
have to have a real world IP that is not routed? I run nat on a
mikrotik router and route static Ip's to there internal IP if they
need one. The client is connecting to an appo about 1 mile away from
his office that is also connected to the same appo. They both have
10.0.100.XX IP's(with real world IP's routed to them). I'm sure the
firewalls mike make a difference whether this is possible but do I
need to do anything but make sure that client to client communication
is allowed on the ap?
