Perl is fine with me. The web server is already running ActivePerl anyway. It sounds easy enough to pass a command to the Perl script from the ASP page and be able to control the camera movements. Just have to be able to pull the image stream from the camera and display it on the page.
Probably something that constantly runs on the server to update the image from the camera to a file on the server. Then in the web page just a java applet that updates the image in the window without having to refresh the page each time. Then some buttons on the page to run the Perl script that controls movement. So whose up for it? My camera is on the net and at your disposal..
